Our hand carved,
stone sculptures will only enhance the uniqueness
and beauty of your home, office, or garden.
There is so much in
the way of décor that is identically manufactured
in factories from artificial materials that may
as well be molds. When a person sees something,
they can just go to the mall and get the same
thing.
We are here specifically
and exclusively for those of you who appreciate,
and feel more comfortable when surrounded by not
only original, and unique art, or furniture, but
especially by art that was created from raw, earthy,
natural elements. No two pieces can possibly be
the same.
Using those natural
elements, the incredibly imaginative and talented
artists of Zimbabwe have transformed single pieces
of stone into one of a kind, sculptures. Among
the different types of stones used for carving,
a variety of beautiful, natural colors can be
found. We have a diverse collection suitable for
all tastes, including one of a kind indoor, and
outdoor garden pieces. We have something for everyone,
and look forward to welcoming you.
Our Mission
We have been working
with the artists of Zimbabwe since 1998, and on
each trip, search for new, up and coming artists,
and sculptures. These relationships are critical
to us. Our priority is to have honest and fair
relations with both the artists we work with,
and our clients. One of the things we love about
what we do is that your purchase directly benefits
real people and their families. Over the last
decade Zimbabweans have endured extremely difficult
economic and political conditions, but the most
talented artists have been fortunate to have a
gift which is appreciated by us in the developed
world. Because of the extremely high unemployment,
the burden of supporting large and extended families
is usually on the shoulders of these artists.
We want you to purchase
your art from us because you have fallen in love
with something we have found on the other side
of the planet and brought almost to your doorstep.
But how wonderful is it that instead of giving
aid to a continuing problem where people around
the world rely on our aid, these artists are "earning"
their living and supporting their families with
pride. We are so fortunate to have them in our
lives, stimulating and expanding our imaginations,
while enriching our surroundings. We might sometimes
look down and just see a rock.
Thank you
